The Department

The university hospital of Leuven house the Department of Paediatric Nephrology, which has a tradition of treating children with diverse renal disorders, in particular, congenital nephropathies/tubulopathies, expertise in renal cystic diseases and have a pediatric unit of dialysis and renal transplantation. With the laboratory of Paediatrics and PKD research group, it forms a translational team with expertise in renal physiology/pathology, congenital renal disorders, renal tubular transport and renal cell culture.
