Brigitte Adams

Brigitte Adams is currently working as a pediatric nephrologist in the University hospital UZ Leuven where she is mainly involved in pediatric dialysis and pediatric organ transplantation.
She went to medical school in Université Libre de Bruxelles ULB and trained in general paediatrics in HUDERF Brussels. She subsequently trained as paediatric nephrologist at the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in London (2002-2004). She also undertook fundamental research on immune regulatory T cells in transplantation tolerance in the institute for medical immunology, Gosselies, Belgium. In 2016, she became the head of the clinic of paediatric dialysis and transplantation in Huderf before moving to Leuven.
