Mikes Bálint

Dr. Mikes Balint is a paediatric nephrologist at Semmelweis University's Paediatric Centre in Budapest, Hungary. He has been leading the Nephrology Unit since May 2023. Following the completion of his paediatric training in 2021, he specialised in paediatric nephrology, with a strong clinical focus on renal transplantation, chronic kidney disease, and immune-mediated glomerular diseases.
His professional portfolio also encompasses the care of children suffering from rare renal disorders, including X-linked hypophosphatemia (XLH) and cystinuria. Dr. Balint is dedicated to improving diagnostic pathways and long-term outcomes for children with complex kidney conditions.
