Isabella Guzzo

Dr Isabella Guzzo is Consultant of Pediatric Nephrology and Chief of the Dialysis Unit at Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital, Rome, Italy. She completed her MD and nephrology residency at the University of Rome and she received her PhD at University of Bologna.

Isabella is a member of the Italian Society of Pediatric Nephrology (SINePe), the Italian Society of Nephrology (SIN), the European Society of Pediatric Nephrology (ESPN) and the International Pediatric Nephrology Association (IPNA).

Her areas of interest include the management of acute kidney injury by renal replacement therapy, end-stage kidney disease, dialysis and transplantation.

In the ESCAPE network, Isabella is the coordinator and principal investigator of the EurAKId Registry.
