Enrico Vidal
Enrico Vidal, M.D., Ph.D., has been a Consultant Paediatric Nephrologist since March 2010 and is in charge of the dialysis program at the Paediatric Nephrology, Dialysis and Transplant Unit, University-Hospital of Padua, Italy. Dr. Vidal received his M.D. and Board of Paediatrics at Udine University Medical School, Italy. In March 2012, he received his Ph.D. in Developmental Medicine and Planning Sciences (research line: rare disease) at the Department of Paediatrics, University of Padua.
He is currently the vice-chair of the European Registry for Paediatric Dialysis and Transplantation (ESPN/ERA-EDTA Registry), a scientific committee member of the Italian Registry of Paediatric Chronic Dialysis and the Italian Registry of Haemolytic-Uremic Syndrome. He is a member of the Working Group on Paediatric Dialysis and on CKD-MBD within the European Society for Paediatric Nephrology. His main areas of expertise include renal replacement therapy in children, acute kidney injury and paediatric critical care nephrology, diseases of complement dysregulation, and systemic hypertension.
He has been a member of the ESCAPE network since 2009.
