Ana Teixeira

Dr. Ana Teixeira is a Consultant in Pediatrics and Pediatric Nephrology at the Pediatric Nephrology Division of Centro-Materno-Infantil do Norte, Porto, where she also serves as Coordinator of the Reference Center for Pediatric Kidney Transplantation. She was Professor of Pediatrics and Pediatric Nephrology at Porto Medical School from 2010 to 2017.

Dr. Teixeira chairs the International Pediatric Nephrology Association (IPNA) Professional Education Committee and co-chairs the European Society for Paediatric Nephrology (ESPN) Education Committee as well as the ERKNet CAKUT and Ciliopathies Working Group. She represents European pediatric nephrology in ERN TransplantChild and serves as co-representative of ERKNet, fostering collaboration in clinical care, guideline development, and education across rare kidney disease networks in Europe.
