Dr Simone Wygoda is the head of the KfH Children Centre for Renal Diseases and Dialysis at the St. Georg Municipal Clinic in Leipzig, Germany.
She received her doctorate (Dr. med.) at MMA Bad Saarow in 1989 and completed her residency and pediatric nephrology training at the Children’s Hospital St. Georg Leipzig. She is a certified pediatric nephrologist and hypertension specialist (DHL).
Simone's main research interests are CKD progression and optimal hemodialysis and peritonealdialysis regimes. She is involved in several randomized controlled clinical trials, patient registries and clinical practice recommendations.
